China's 15th Five-Year Plan (2026–2030), serving as a critical blueprint for embarking on a new journey, has drawn significant attention from both domestic and international enterprises regarding its policy framework and strategic direction. To deeply explore its implications and opportunities, a high-level seminar integrating political, economic, and legal perspectives was convened.
On January 20, 2026, the thematic seminar "The 15th Five-Year Plan: Guidelines, Targets, Opportunities," jointly organized by D'Andrea & Partners, PHC Advisory, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CCIC), and the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC), was successfully held at CCIC Suzhou Office. The event brought together professionals from the legal, economic, and business sectors to jointly explore China's development strategies and market opportunities over the next five years.
The event officially commenced at 4 p.m. Mr. Davide Angelibusi, Board Member of CCIC, delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing the significance of China's new five-year plan for foreign enterprises operating in the country.
Following this, Aris Xie, Partner and Legal Counsel at D'Andrea & Partners, delivered the first keynote speech, analyzing the compliance orientation and institutional safeguards of the 15th Five-Year Plan from legal and policy perspectives, providing professional guidance for enterprises to operate steadily within the policy framework.
Haili Wu, Associate Professor of Economics at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) further offered an in-depth analysis from a macroeconomic perspective, delving into the plan's key growth targets, industrial layout, and innovation-driven strategies, thereby uncovering structural opportunities and emerging industry trends for the next five years.
During the Q&A and closing session, attendees enthusiastically posed questions and engaged in lively discussions with the guests. Topics covered multiple hot issues such as the digital economy, green transformation, and coordinated regional development, creating an active and dynamic atmosphere on site.
As the event drew to a close, a wine reception sponsored by the DP Winery was arranged, providing participants with a relaxed and enjoyable platform for networking. Professionals from various fields further explored potential collaboration opportunities through these interactions.
This seminar has not only provided forward-looking policy insights for enterprises in Suzhou and the Yangtze River Delta region, but has also established a high-level cross-industry dialogue platform. With the comprehensive implementation of China's 15th Five-Year Plan, a new chapter of development has already begun. We look forward to continued attention from all sectors to the policy trajectory, seizing the opportunities of the times, and jointly creating a future of cooperation.
